Walk in for L1 Server Support Engineer from Nov 23rd-30th Nov


Job DescriptionPosition: L1 Server Support Engineer

Experience: 2+years

Education : Graduate

Work Timing : 24x7 shift



Primary Responsibilities:

Windows NT/2000/2003 Server Administration
Monitor/Manage/patch approximately 35 servers
Monitor the successful completion of daily backups to ensure that the Windows environment is recoverable.
Monitor server usage and disk usage and generate an alert if a pending problem exists.
TCP/IP fundamentals / IIS administration
Monitor application errors / security /patching
Monitoring of all Event Logs, subsystems and metrics gathering / analysis
Work with ASP, IT, and other operations teams
Locate upgrades to existing products or new products for problems determined from performance monitoring or persistent issues.
Setting Product Demos
Building Documents / Knowledge Base / Document procedures for installations and troubleshooting.
Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications:

Any graduate with a good sound knowledge of remote server with a Minimum 2+years of work experience in thsi field
An excellent working knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003 Server Administration
Self Learner / Good Team Player.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Quality and Process Orientation.
Able to prioritize tasks; flexible to handle shifting priorities when situations arise
Proactively identify issues and escalate the complex issues to the respective teams.
Maintenance of operations procedures.
Self Learner / Good Team Player.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 Shift Roaster
