Job Description
Supports production systems, as required, by optimizing performance, streamlining processes, helping resolve problems, and providing timely follow-up on problem reports. * Design, code, test and implement complex programs; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards. * Interface with customers to determine requirements and problem resolution. * Analyze and install updates, fixes and bundles. * Participate in the FIT/GAP analysis during system upgrade or implementation. * Provide reports on project development status to project leads and leadership on a regular and timely basis. * Enhance existing systems; participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews. * Implementing/Supporting new modules as business requires.
Desired Profile
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Developer with at least 3+ years of PeopleSoft development experience with HRMS Systems.
In this position, the employee will implement, support and maintain production systems, work with the clients to understand new business requirements and design, customize, develop and test application modification to optimize the PeopleSoft HRMS Systems. The responsibilities also include troubleshooting application issues and/or data issues when they arise.
Skills Required:* Proficient in People Tools (Application Designer, People code, SQR, App Engine, Component Interface).* Proficient in SQL statements and Relational Database (preferable Oracle).* Experience with PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (web servers, application servers and Process Schedulers).* Experience with supporting Payroll, Benefits, Ben Admin, time & Labor and Self Service.* Strong problem solving skills.* Ability to understand business requirements and work with functional community to create system requirements.* Proven ability to effectively manage tasks and activities* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work well with all levels within the technical community and clients.* Experience with UNIX environment.
