Brief Job Description:

Design, develop and write system drivers and device drivers for LAN/WAN network devices. Contribute ideas for multiple module/’subsystem architecture.

Tackle complex issues in creative ways. Write complete functional and design specifications independently. Contribute to the development of project goals, schedules, and resource planning.

Apply Networking knowledge to product development. Debug and solve problems of complex scope at system level. Mentor junior team members.

Take ownership for initiatives and code, and then drive ongoing evaluation and success.

Expertise in developing one or more net-working technologies on a Carrier-grade telecom platform.

Ability to monitor own work and work of 2 other Junior Engineers

Must haves:

* Should have strong skills in C/C++ & Data structures
* At least 1 full lifecycles (design, implementation, test, product validation) of integration design of at least 2 different control plane stacks

* Technical expert in any of the protocols Ethernet, POS, MPLS, SONET/SDH, ATM, Circuit Emulation, Frame Relay, HDLC
Routing protocols.

* Has worked on RTOS.
